nghenvironmental have extensive experience in environmental planning and project management. We have demonstrated an ability to manage and coordinate large projects and multidisciplinary planning teams and can provide services including:
- Advice on the development approval process, environmental policy and law;
- Project management;
- Assessment of site constraints to assist with planning; and
- Preparation of Environmental Management Plans (EMPs), landscaping and rehabilitation.
Our Planning Experience
- Building design, landscape planning, environmental planning, cultural and environmental assessment for Australia’s highest building; a proposed amenity building at Rawsons Pass, 200 metres from the summit of Mount Kosciuszko and one of Australia’s most sensitive and iconic locations. - Over the last 15 years, provision of environmental planning services to Telstra. These include involvement in the roll-out of mobile telephone infrastructure to more than 70 sites in western and southern NSW, the ACT and Victoria. (Click here for more information about this work);
- Environmental planning, environmental and cultural assessment and landscape design for a number of visitor facilities within NSW, including South East Forests, Mimosa Rocks, Ben Boyd and Kosciuszko National Parks.
- Engineering and environmental assessment for the upgrading of 35 government-owned bridges in south-eastern NSW.
- Development of the Mallacoota Foreshore Management Plan, for the East Gippsland Shire Council, Victoria.
- Advising private developers and landholders in relation to their obligations and opportunities under environmental legislation, including preparation of numerous biodiversity, bushfire and archaeology and historic constraints assessments.
