Freshwater Ecology

nghenvironmental's freshwater ecology team is lead by Dr Raphael Morgan and Steven Sass. Their expertise in the preservation and understanding of freshwater ecosystems includes:

• Aquatic macroinvertebrate surveys across NSW and Victoria to monitor water quality, riparian condition and environmental flows;
• Specialist frog surveys and habitat assessment, including threatened species assessment across eastern and central Australia;
• Fish and Fish habitat surveys across wetlands, creeks and rivers throughout the Murray-Darling Basin, including assessments under the Fisheries Management Act 1994; and
• Specialist Turtle surveys.
