Marine Specialists

Our marine research and assessment team is led by Dr Raphael Morgan, who has over ten years experience in the field of Marine Ecology/Aquaculture in both Australia and overseas. Some of his most significant projects include technical support in the establishment of a sea urchin aquaculture facility in NSW and preparation of environmental impact assessments financed by the Belgian government. These include:

• Research on the effect of the extraction of sand and gravel in Belgian territorial waters, involving surveying and monitoring of the benthic fauna;
• Impact assessment research and biomonitoring of heavy metals and polychlorinated biphenyls associated with sediments in North Sea macrobenthos, focusing on echinoderms.
